NVme installation

Go to solution Solved by Skiiwee29,

You push it in. You may feel a slight resistance before it's in fully but not always. Best way to check if it's seated fully is to lay it down onto the retention standoff and see if the screw hole lines up with the notch at the top of the drive. If it does, then the drive is likely seated correctly.

Hi guys.

I don't know to install NV2 to Asus Rampage V Extreme.

I don't feel retenesion from nvme slot.

Should I push nvme drive towards the nvme slot?

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

It was pain in the a..s to screw it using non magnetic screwdriver.

The nvme screw is so small.

Now lets see if the MoBo will recognize the nvme drive or I need to flash the BIOS 😕

What do I choose GPT or MBR?

My bootable SSD is formatted as partition style MBR.
