g915 replacement keys

The LEDs are separate from, and are attached under the switches, so you won't need to do anything with them. That's pretty much standard for RGB switches, so not sure where they got the idea that you would need to desolder them.

€7.90 per 10 switches is on the expensive side for Kailh Choc switches, afaik. SplitKB has them for €6.99 per 10, including Dutch sales tax (assuming you're in EU)

they probably will, but if the g915 needs 3 pin switches you can just clip the two black plastic legs to make them compatible

you dont need an aio for anything but i9 cpus or heavy oc jobs just get an nh-d15 or peerless assassin

just need to be careful when desoldering bc you may need to pull out leds as well

you dont need an aio for anything but i9 cpus or heavy oc jobs just get an nh-d15 or peerless assassin

some boaards have the leds like mounted is the gaps of the switches but ig thats only for older boards without smd components

oh the fact the leds are on the board makes the job a 100x easier then (my first time moding a KB) will be a nice easy job as i have all the tools for pcb repair
