Hey everyone,

I usually use Firefox on my desktop (1080p) and decided I wanted to try and use Chrome on my new laptop (Razer Blade 2014) that has a 3K screen (1800p). When I installed Chrome, the text looks extremely fuzzy and distorted compared to my IE which looks perfect. Am I stuck with Chrome not supporting 3k resolution? Should I just use Firefox or IE?

I was trying to get away from Firefox and try something new but I guess I will have to install it again haha. Not a fan of Opera.

& The Razer Blade is absolutely amazing as far as a laptop for productivity or media. For gaming, I'm not sure what to reference it with since I have only been using desktops for years.  Its not as good as my desktop but it sure is strong. At Native resolution it heats up quick, Im going to try 1080p and see how that goes next.

Of its windows 8.1 that's an issue with most pcs. I got it and to fix it, right click the program and click disable scaling on high dpi (or something like that). If it's already checked, uncheck it. This is what causes that issue for me. It only happens on some applications

Yes if you disable scaling, then all the control elements will be tiny. But not so ugly. Same problem I had with my retina MacBook Pro in windows.

For the best high DPI experience, use IE11.

Firefox does an ok job. Not perfect, but fine (I use Firefox for obvious reasons)

Chrome, is well, as you can see, a disaster. This is because Chrome uses very old legacy graphic rendering system of Windows.

The same applied for touch screen, interestingly enough.

- IE11 will allow you to zoom in and scroll like on a super duper fast tablet or smartphone as you would expect.

- Firefox works well, but scrolling is not as smooth as IE11, and zooming in well, it acts like Ctrl+[+] at every gesture stroke, or it does multiple of them in a row, depending on its mood. All in all, it's ok, especially if you use it your device more as a laptop than tablet.

- As for Chrome, despite the fast web page loading, for some reason it has horrible scrolling performance via touch (despite being fine using a mouse scroll wheel), and zoom-in breaks many pages, including YouTube, funny enough.
