Hi I want know if a 6+2 cable is the same thing as an 8pin because I want to get a 2060 and it says I need an 8pin but my power supply only has 2x (6+2) PCIE cables and I am really confused

its actually the same thing . an 8pin pcie connector is devided into 6+2 for the convinience incase one needs a 6pin pcie connector...

but you can use it as 8 pin connector.dont worry about it. its made to work that way... its an 8pin connector..
