Hi I Accidentally deleted DCIM folder on my s20 fe internal memory from my laptop, i dont have a sd card installed.

I tried easus but apparently it only can recover from an sd card,

Anyway I can get it back?

I downlaoded this other software MIniTool, but it asks to 'root' my device. is that safe to do?

Thanks

Hope you had backed your pictures. The longer your phone is on, the more likely it will run the trim command. It auto runs every 3 days if it hasn't run once during that time. It runs whenever the phone restart, at night (I believe around midnight) and if the phone is idle, and probably a few other events.

Meaning, by now, the 1s and 0s of those videos and pictures are completely gone from the flash memory.
