Help me chose a GPU, please

Hello friends,

 

I am currently running :

MB- AsRock X570 Pro4 

CPU- Ryzen 7 5700x

GPU- Gigabyte 6650XT 

RAM- Fury 32GB 3600mhz

 

 

I recently started streaming, but i do notice that i have to lower a the graphics on a lot of the "newish" games. As i have a birthday soon ( in 6 days ) my friends and GF, asked me what i want for a gift and a new GPU was the only thing that came to mind. I am STRUGLING a lot in making a choice, I am looking to have very smooth gaming and streaming experience. Currently i have 2 Samsung Odyseey G3 32inch 1080p and might add my old 27in as a screen for Twitch and stuff. The fact that i am playing on 1080 is really just making everything more difficult. 

I am looking into 3090, 3070 TI, 4070TI, 7900 XT, 7900 XTX. 

 

If you have any recommendations even outside of the ones i listed please say so. A quick answer would be so much appreciated.

1080p? 3070 should be good enough, and the nvenc chip is the same as the one found in the 3090, however, a 3080 or 3090 (or 4070ti as long as it's cheaper) would give you a more noticeable upgrade.

 

The newest 4070 wouldn't be a bad option either.

I wouldn't bother with a 30 series card, you can get the standard 4070 for the same price or less ($600) and it will outperform all the 30 series cards. The 40 series will also be much better than the 30 series for streaming due to AV1 encoding. If you don't use RT and you want as much FPS per $ than the 7900 XT/X is probably the way to go.

i asked few friends as well and got the exact same answer. I think i will go with the 7900 xtx.
