All the intel laptops with G5 and G7 graphics that I have used really terrible CPU performance. I want to chalk it up to bad power configuration but I have to wonder if the technology is just finnicky to work with. If you're not a gamer, cheaper laptops with traditional intel iGPUs still exist, and if you are a gamer, you can do better.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Been seeitsome pretty good deals on laptops curious how gaming is lately with it. Know it probably depends on the laptops build quality but I'm just curious how heat handles and frame rates for new gen games.

Even the G7 chips can get hot and don't get one of those. Terribly underpowered. I would either get a U ryzen chip or a newer 12th gen P chip/U chip. For the xe graphics, if it has a cpu that can power it, the xe graphics can get 130 fps in cs go at 1080p low

But the 5700u with radeon vega 8 graphics gets 140 and the 6800u with the 680m is even better (check second vid) so i would go for something with the 680m as the iGPU it can get 170 fps average at 1080p and play fh5 if you want
