Hello! I recently bought a AMD Ryzen 9 5900x and it worked with my motherboard which is a ASUS TUF gaming b-450 plus board and once I booted up my pc to test it I heard all the fans start running at max speeds. I’m thinking it’s the cooler as I am using the AMD spire stock cooler that came with my original cooler. Are there any other things that could cause it?

The Spire cooler isn't not able to handle a 5900X, it's a 150-200W CPU and that's a 65W cooler. You might be OK running at base clock but that will be significantly worse perfomance than running it with a proper CPU cooler.

Spend the $40 and upgrade your CPU cooler to something like a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120.

Thanks for letting me know, I ended up buying the noctua d-15 cooler a bit pricey but it’ll keep it cooled
