Hi!

I have ran into a problem with my PC after reinstalling Windows 10. When I shut the computer down or put it into sleep, it does not turn off, the monitors and USB devices do, but the PC itself stays on for some reason. I have to hold power button to turn it off, so I can boot again, otherwise it won't come back from sleep or from shutdown just by pressing it.

Specs:

CPU: i7-2600K

Motherboard: Gigabyte Z68P

RAM:  32Gb 1600MHz DDR3

GPU: GTX TITAN X

PSU: FSP Hydro G 750W 80+ Gold

I updated the BIOS on the motherboard, that did not help. Any suggestions?

system out println("Please don't drop it Linus!");

Powercfg -h off

do that in command prompt or powershell or the terminal

this will turn off the hybrid sleep / fast shutdown feature of Windows.

I'm going to reboot after I have saved my work, and reach back if it solved it. It did find corrupt files.

you did install chipset drivers?

I did not as windows automatically found and installed them. I'll do it manually and reach back.

strange. ok. well anyway. chipset drivers are best from the vendor.. they are fresher than what comes with autoupdate usually.

I have installed the proper chipset drivers, now I have 1 unknown device, with hardware ID PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3A&SUBSYS_04911025&REV_04. Can not find the drivers for it, intel only has the NUC version of it.
