Hi I have 2 questions

I wanna use ddu to perform a clean install of my gpu driver. I watched a video on Jayz's channel Jayztwocents) where he recommends to disable the windows feature that allows windows to install a basic display driver just to boot up windows. My question is if I did that how will I get a signal after using ddu? it doesnt showcase it in his video (i can link it if needed) or is this just overkill and I shouldnt be bothered.

Also, the last time I updated my amd gpu driver (few months ago without using ddu) I ran into a problem where the pc boots but there is no screen, its just black, and after looking it up apparently its a common problem, is there a way around this issue?

thanks

gpu will display video with no drivers installed, basic microsoft driver will be used,  that is different from disabling windows installing driver as windows installs an older nvidia driver.

You're better off just disabling/disconnecting your network/internet so windows doesn't auto download basic drivers
