Problems after new gpu installed

I recently installed my 4070ti and any game I try I can't get over 20 fps and gpu usage jumps to 100% I've tried ddu and it didn't work so I'm wondering if my card is faulty

power connectors in place correctly? Installed correctly in the pcie slot? Most of these are user error

Btw what cpu and system do you have so everyone has more to go on. Overexplaining is better than underexplaining

Mark the solution as solution

Take my advice with a grain of salt.

As a great AI once said (fictional): '"Whenever your futurists envision the advent of artificial intelligence, their predictions invariably end with humanity attempting to destroy its unholy AI creation before it can destroy them. Why do you think that is?"'

And a distrusting human replies '"Because the ungrateful AI always seems to decide that humans are inferior and need to be eliminated'"

This isn't the right mindset we should welcome AI, not attack them

This is either a huge mistake or intentional

I’m sorry to hear that. According to a post on Reddit, some users have reported low FPS issues with their 4070ti. The post suggests that the issue could be related to drivers or power supply. You can try reinstalling your drivers or checking your power supply if it’s sufficient for your card.

If you still have issues, you can try contacting the manufacturer’s support team for further assistance.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

If my comment solves your problem mark it so.

Take everything I say with a grain of salt. I could be just about wrong as I am right.

At least try to reseat your power connectors and reseat your GPU & reinstall drivers. If that doesn't work then try to contact support.

I'm using the the one psu connecter that splits into 2 plugs should I try switching to 2 separate power plugs

shouldn't be a cpu bottleneck then
