Hey guys,

We've recently bought a pair of Ronin SC gimbals to remotely control the angles of a couple of cameras. We're pretty happy with them, other than the fact that their range is a bit limited, and they're constantly going in and out of range. I was wondering if there exists such a thing as a Bluetooth Extender? The gimbals are controlled by an iOS app, so extending the range by slapping a dongle onto a USB cable is not as easy. (I think?)

I know Bluetooth wasn't made to be extended, but if anybody can think of a possible solution I'd be grateful.

Are you filming from so far away ??

Bluetooh 5 is on the SC so you should be good to over 200meters no problem???

Higher bandwidth: While Bluetooth 4.2 transmits data at 1 Mbps, Bluetooth 5.0 doubles that to 2 Mbps. Longer range: Bluetooth 4.2 can hold connection to another device for a maximum of 60 meters (200 feet). With Bluetooth 5.0, that distance is quadrupled to 240 meters (800 feet).
