Razer Deathadder 2013 durability?

I take really good care of my stuff and i dont throw my mice around or slam em. But i heard razer mice can go bad on people just by themselves(scroll wheels, click buttons, back buttons). I have had my DA 2013 for 1 month and 10 days now. Can it last several years if i take really good care of it or is it just not built to last that long? lol.

BLAOW!!!!

If you take good care of your peripherals as you have stated, I think you should be fine in terms of product longevity. From my experience, 'Razer' products often have extremely high build-quality when compared to other, similar products on the market. :)

Me too ive had my nostromo and orachi for over a year and its been said that these were some of their worst build qualities and they work fine

I've had my Deathadder for over 4 years now and it still works fine. My sister uses it now and she has no complaints about them. I've had bad experiences with Razer keyboards though, but they were membrane ones, specifically the Lycosa so that doesn't say anything about the Deathadders or any other mechanical keyboard they make.

I gave my first-gen Deathadder to a friend a couple years ago, and since then he's given it to his friend who gave it to his friend who still uses the damn thing just fine. Assuming the 2013 one has equal or better build quality, it'll last you a good long while.

My deathadder 3G (obviously not 2013 edition) broke after ~1 year (sensor stopped working). I currently have an Imperator and it is still going strong after ~2 years.
