I know 60 is usually alright, but its not under load. Its just downloading a game from steam. i5 750 1st gen. I have more fans installed in the case than a PC from this era usually would.image.thumb.jpg.55de6741dd7d380438bec56efdd4dc56.jpg

they peak around 62 every so often for a few secs. I just worry how it will be under load.

Is this during idle and what cpu cooler do you have so we can have a bit more to go on. Also is this at boot or after being in the os for a long time and just monitoring the temps

yes its normal. You are using a pretty damn old CPU, Downloading a game thats pretty large will be it under a pretty huge load.

Downloading games does use cpu usage. Even games on a slow network (like 6mbps) still takes like 10 percent of my 5600 and it’s hurting your temps even more that it’s being cooled by a stock cooler
