Alienware dwf

I've recently purchased the Alienware oled dwf and I love it so far but there are two games that are causing me grief. I am trying to get hdr working with destiny 2 and shadows of tomb raider. Both of these games come out super white wash, its like there is a layer of white light overtop of everything. I have tried alot of options and none have seemed to help.

Right now I have the monitor on hdr peak 1000, went into Nvidia control pannel and made the resolution use Nvidia color settings at 165hz. I have 32 bit selected with 8bpc, rgb and full for dynamic range. I do have windows hdr on as well as shadows does not run hdr without it.

Whenever I take a screenshot of the screen it comes out perfect like that white light on top is not there. I just don't understand what could be going on any help with this would be appreciated.

hdr peak 1000

Try HDR 400 True Black. They is still an issue on HDR 1000 for this model even latest firmware update.

Change to 10bpc

So for the 10bpc I can not change it to that as I am using it in the 165 hz mode and the only option for it would be the 8bpc.

Try HDR 400 True Black. They is still an issue on HDR 1000 for this model even latest firmware update.

Its sad that I have to drop down to the 400 true black as I purchased it for the 1000 hdr but ill be patient and wait for a update I just hope they fix this in a timely manner.

Thank-you for this info.
