Context: I am building a new system and I’m having issues with the bios configuration for RAID. I have setup a RAID 0 config prior on my previous system and would like to on this one.
Â
System: i9 12900K, ASUS B760M-PLUS WIFI D4, 2x 2Tb Crucial P5 Plus NVME 2280(slotted on the board).Â
Other components: 2 x 32gb RAM, CPU cooler H115i, 2080ti.

so the system successfully boots and works while it Intel rapid storage is turned off, but once I turn it on and try to configure any raid it prompts with something along the lines of “raid volumesÂ
that's where you create the raid volume. and select the disk and type of raid.Â
just remember to download ahci/raid drivers extract them and have them on a folder on your install disk as you will probably have to load driver to see the raid volume during installÂ
Â
if it's a headache or not... i've been running my system on raid 0 since 2018. swapped from asus rog strix z270 mainboard where it was created to asus rog strix z390 mainboard that it's running on now. never had an issue with the disks.Â
Â
i can see both disks in hwmonitor64.. and the volume. BUT i can't upgrade firmware on them as samsung magicician only sees the raid volume.Â
