Go to solution Solved by gRaN-Ma project,

In order to search the specs of your mac on the internet and download the drivers ...

1) Open Start.
2) Search for msinfo32 and click the top result to open the System Information app.
3) Select the Components/Sound device category from the left navigation panel.

Ok so weird topic I have an old MacBook pro from 2010-2012 and the hard drive crapped out. I replaced hard drive and put new ram in and installed windows 10. other than some weird key bindings and some minor things I cant get the sound to work on the laptop. I can plugin usb Bluetooth headsets and screen mirror to get sound but the speakers and headphone jack aren't working. any ideas?

Should I find a way to install mac back on, or is there a way to get the sound back with windows installed?

Update/edit: checking device manager the sound/speakers/audio section is not there.

Look for your sound card details (Hardware Ids) and download the official driver manually…

If you open the Device Manager there should be a "base system device" with a yellow exclamation mark.

For the base system device can you in the Device Manager right-click the device > Properties > Details, then choose "Hardware Ids" from the drop-down menu under "Property".
