I have recently purchased i7 processor from eBay wanted to know how to make sure it is not overclocked or having any errors.

Tried running cpu-z to make sure it is the same model ordered did quick Intel diagnostic test  any other softwares which can point out any error or any problems in my processor

Thanks 😊

make sure its not overclocked? you can only overclock with software or bbios, not with the cpu itself, if you put it in a system is never going to be overclock unless you do so yourself, you can run Cinebench R32 for a stress test tho

Yes like any software which says it has been overclocked any time as overclocking  reduces it's life

nope, that software doesn't, and can't, exist.  CPUs do what they're told, and don't record it.

Also:  CPUs have a much longer functional life than basically any other component in a PC.  Reducing the life by 10% isn't really a concern.  If you're able to stress test it without errors, the odds of it dying early on you are very very very slim.

Any software for quick benchmark test
