weird PSU question

Is there a PSU that is wireless in the sense of you don't have to plug it into a wall and it has a battery you need to charge?

You mean a Jackery Power Station?  Or a literal PSU with a battery in it? No, that does not exist.

Not likely. It's hard(for me, at least) to conceive a reason for such a thing to exist, outside of it being an interesting gimmick.

 

If you need portable computing, that's literally why laptops were invented.

I mean, this thing exists, but that's probably the closest you're gonna get, and even then, it's not exactly portable...

What you're describing is basically any type of Battery Backup system.

The transmission of power thru the air was Nokola Tesla's major thing.  He spent his whole life on trying to figure out how to transmit electricity thru the air.  Unfortunately for the rest of the world, he did not find a solution to the issue.
