How badly do you need a code display and DDR4 memory?

POST code displays are usually reserved for the higher end boards, and LGA 1700, DDR4, and POST code displays don't really intersect much.

EVGA's Z690 and Z790 motherboards have all of those, except DDR4 memory, as an example:

Only two exist that have both a POST code and DDR4, the Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Pro and Z690 Aorus Ultra. Neither are boards I particularly recommend since they both have relatively weak memory support, where 3600MT/s is hit or miss.

If you really need a POST code, you really should be going for DDR5, especially if price isn't a factor for you. You can usually find a Z690 Force for ~$300, which is generally about as fully featured a board as you can get for LGA 1700.
