I am wanting to put more memory into my desktop, and server. Currently both of them are each running a kit of G.SKILL Trident Z Neo.

I was thinking that if I got (hopefully) compatible ECC memory for less than or equal to the cost of buying two more of those kits, I would rather go down that route. Then I'd have the stability of ECC in my server. After that, I can move that kit to my desktop and be back to where I was.

The server is running an `X570S AORUS PRO AX` motherboard and a 3900x. Looks like it also supports up to 128GB.

This server runs on BBCode, not reddit formatting. Also, your pictures failed to load.

To me personally, its all in the warranty for it as Unbuffered ECC is pretty sporadic in supply. Find brand you know youll have an easy time to RMA if things goes south.

Fixed the link. I forgot about that, I haven't posted on here in quite a while.

Weird, the images show up fine in the editor just fine. They also work when I hover over it with Imagus. They didn't really add anything to the post, so I'll just remove them.

Huh, interesting. I was just going to look on eBay for used memory.
