After a few days my gpu will stop running at full power it will be at 30-55w and will get 30fps instead of normal 50- 60fps in games

The only solution is to unplug from motherboard and reset then it seems to work for a few days

And ideas ?

1650 72w

msi mortar b365m

New 550w psu

Did you just upgrade to that card? If so, what was the previous card used?

interesting. Nvidia control panel messes up the clock speeds sometimes and it can get stuck in idle. Open nvidia control panel>Manage 3D settings>Set power management mode to high performance and reboot. If this does not work you could try to use DDU and reinstall the Nvidia drivers. That is one of the first things to do when a GPU is acting funny.

See if there is anything wrong with the PCIe settings in the BIOS. Since you mentioned that your graphics card is a sub-75W model, it's probably getting all the power from the motherboard. Something could be affecting the power delivery settings.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

What game are you trying, And maybe there is bios settings issue or driver issue.

In the BIOS, the PCIe x16 slot would probably have its own settings menu. If the only thing you can do is change between PCIe 3.0 and 2.0 you probably don't have a issue there.
