Going to go through how it started and to where im at now

So I suspected i had a Virus on my computer and i scanned it and thought i got rid of it i even did a roll back to a few weeks prior after the roll back everything was good.

Until i Turn my computer on the Next day and i get a Blue screen of death Stop Code: CRITICAL PROCESS DIED(Windows 10 for the OS) I cannot get past this Error for some time Some things i treid

RUN DISM TO REPAIR CORRUPTED SYSTEM IMAGE, i also tried SFC /Scannow. after those didnt work and i tried to get into any and all settings

Ultimately i just decided to reinstall Windows 10 From a flash drive Until i got to where it wants u to pick the drive to install windows on i put a picture of the screen im talking about (not my computer just an example photo)

I could not put windows on any Drive  it Said "The selected Disk is of the GPT partition Style" and wouldnt let me put it on the drive i clicked Format and it would load for a second and do nothing

Turned the computer off/back on and now im at Photos provided below with Recovery on the screen

None of the options work they load for a split second and then just pop back the same Blue screen

But i can get into the BIOS thats about it

i have no idea what to do

if you have a spare drive un plug all drives and reinstall windows clean install to that drive. then shutdown and plug in the other drive. enter bios to make sure your new installation drive is selected then save and boot into windows. from your sqeaky clean install run a scan on the older windows drive for virus and scan for errors etc before you attempt another recovery or recovery of files.

I suggest this method as the more you mess with the boot drive the harder you might make it to recover the items you want as photos persnal odds and ends etc.

If I understand correctly, you don't need any files from the computer, and just want to reinstall Windows?

IF that is accurate you were actually very close to succeeding. 🙂  Just follow the directions below:

⚠️ WARNING YOU WILL LOSE ANY FILES YOU HAD!

  1. When it gets to the "Where do you want to install Windows screen"
  2. Click on each partition and click Delete
  3. Eventually you should have One Drive 0
  4. Then install Windows to that 🙂

If you do want the files you had on your hard drive (like pictures, documents), than you can definitely salvage them, but we will need to approach it a different way.

There is approximately a 117% chance I edited my post.
