I have run into a serious issue which is stopping my workflow dead.

I have:

i7 11600k

64 gig ram

3080 with 12 gig

Windows 11 22h2, 22621.1105

Sometime earlier this month I started getting BSOD when using twinmotion or Adobe Dimension, both heavy gpu renderers.

When trying to render the system would lock then BSOD, the BSOD was so quick, I could not read what occurred, I got a photo one time which said Critical_Process_Died . The event viewer is useless it just states the pc restarted unexpectedly.

I got so frustrated I totally reinstalled windows 11 clean install.

Same issue.

Rolled back nvidia drivers to early December (no issues then)

Same issue.

So now I don't know what to, the last crash was so bad it totally nerfed my stream deck settings for some bizarre reason!

Its either the graphics card, (ran hardware test no issues detected) or latest windows 11

I am not seeing anyone having issues like this right now so I guess it has to be hardware, anything else I can try?

Have you run Memtest86+ or passMark memtest86 to test your RAM?

Monitored CPU temperatures?

OK I have put the old ram back in and it stabilised, but this was an issue before swapping this ram out. I wonder if its the ram slots or motherboard? I have never been able to successfully apply XMP for instance. On my old ram 3600 was totally unstable so could only set to circa 2900, and the new ram I installed which is compatible would not XMP at all.

How many DIMMs are you using??? 4 DIMMS is gonna put more stress on the IMC and with XMP enabled may cause instability. Motherboard designs for RAM vary across brands and have an effect too.
