Hello,

I would like to purchase RAM but I don't really understand something:

Here is my CPU:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/230493/intel-core-i513600k-processor-24m-cache-up-to-5-10-ghz/specifications.html

"Memory types: Up to DDR5 5600 MT/s"

and I own this MBD:

https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b760-i-gaming-wifi-model/spec/

"2 x DIMM, Max. 64GB, DDR5 7600(OC)/ 7466(OC)/ 7200(OC)/ 7000(OC)/ 6800(OC)/ 6600(OC)/ 6400(OC)/ 6200(OC)/ 6000(OC)/ 5800(OC)/ 5600/ 5400/ 5200/ 5000/ 4800 Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory*
Dual Channel Memory Architecture
Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP)
OptiMem II"

Why do DDR5 with a frequency higher than 5600MHz exists ?

I found this RAM in discount: G.Skill Flare X5, DDR5-6000, CL36, AMD Expo - 32 GB Dual-Kit, Schwarz

and I would like to purchase it but is it compatible with my MBD and CPU ?

Thanks

i) Why do anything above 2400Mhz DDR4 exist

6000MHz is compatible with your mb so the ram is compatible

Hey thanks for your answer!

But why is intel saying:

"Memory types: Up to DDR5 5600 MT/s"

it is overclocked look the the board page and  everything over 5600 marked as OC. The OC part is easy you could use XMP and dont have to anywork. so intel doesnt have to take any responcibilty if overclocking doesnt work and the pc is unstable if you dont have a unlocked board (in this case you do) you will be only be able to go upto 5600Mhz even you have 13900K.

Ok I see, it is a warranty for them because the CPU is not build for 5600MHz+ RAM, but is it safe ? And is it possible that it will damage my CPU ? (using XMP)

it is very unlikely you damage a cpu just bcz enabled XMP.  even if you manually overclock it killing a cpu is very hard
