Can someone please help me? This has been bothering me for quite some time now. I used to have Windows 10 on my PC but then I opted in for the Windows 11 update. Everything was running smoothly until I needed to reformat my PC. After the installation my Windows Defender had a yellow exclamation mark that doesn't go away, when I check it out the problem was under Device Security but when I click on it it's empty and some error message pops up. I looked at dozens of sites for a fix but I got frustrated and just let it hoping that it's just a bug that will be fixed with the coming updates. Of course, it didn't so what I did was I clean installed Windows 11 again from an iso file and the yellow exclamation mark disappeared but still my Device Security is empty. Any ideas why? When I first got the Windows 11 update I'm pretty sure this wasn't empty.

My current version of Windows 11 Home is 22H2 and OS Build is 2261.525
I am running Intel Core i5 - 10400F on a MSI B460M Motherboard with 32GB of ram (2x16) and Zotac RTX 2070 Super.
I have attached some photos for reference.

Go to your bios and enable TPM that will give you the options in Device security. You need these things for Device security to Work https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/device-protection-in-windows-security-afa11526-de57-b1c5-599f-3a4c6a61c5e2#hardwarescore most of them need to be enabled from bios

Secure boot, TPM and devices that support hardware encryption will all populate that section if present and/ or enabled.

Hi thank you for responding, yes I'm aware of that and that's why It's bugging me that it's empty even if all those are enabled.

Did you reinstall windows, From windows or using a thumb drive and formatted disk.

Yes, I did a clean reinstall of Windows. That's when this started happening. I read an article saying that it's just a bug and it will be fixed on further updates but it didn't so I looked for more solutions and I found someone said doing a clean install of Windows will fix it. So recently I did a clean reinstall of Windows from their website via iso file. The yellow exclamation mark disappeared but still Device Security is empty.

I have the exact same problem as in this post (https://www.elevenforum.com/t/device-security-page-not-available.8636/) with the exact error message as well, that's when I decided to do a clean install of Windows via iso file. Somehow it "fixed" it because I was no longer having the yellow exclamation mark on Device Security but it's still empty.

it is prob a windows bug bcz your system does have everything. You could report this in their  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/contact?SourceApp=smc2&ContactUsExperienceEntryPointAssetId=S.HP.SMC-HOME Support site and maybe get a fix

I just had a conversation with the support team, they did everything they can unfortunately they weren't able to fix the issue. All they did was what I've done before contacting them 😅. Anyway, I think I'll just let this be, but still hoping for a fix. I'll keep track of this post and give update as well if I have found a fix. Thank you all!
