Hi

I have a pre-built gaming PC

Specs:

     Windows 11

     MB: GIGABYTE X570S AORUS PRO

     CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti

     RAM: T-Force Delta RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 MHz

I pulled my RAM and see the model type is:

     TF3D48G3200HC16FBK

When I look on-line I find the same brand, size, speed but the model number is different.

Do I need to add more RAM for the long term?

I found this model number:

    TF3D416G3200HC16CDC01

Is it a match?

HELP Me make sense of this??

Thanks all in advance.

Well, first, the 3200 and 3600 in the numbers are the speeds of the ram, 16/18 is likely the CAS latency, the numbers after that probably identify the batch or time of year they were produced..  You would want the 3200 to add to your existing ram - which isn't always recommended, it is always best to install one kit by itself, not mix-match types/speeds/batches, but systems are more lenient to that these days..

As for do you need more ram, depends on you, 16b is sufficient for most people, in 2-3 years some games will probably require more..
