This question comes up constantly and PCPP really needs to do a better job with this warnings...
4000D has a single USB3 Type A port and a Type C port. That motherboard can connect just fine to the Type A port but you don't have support on that board for the front panel Type C port on the case. This is not a problem if you don't care about the Type C port and you just tuck the wire out of the way. If you absolutely want to use it, you can buy a USB PCIe card with the appropriate header OR you can convert it to plug into the USB2 header on the board (and the extremely slow transfer speed that comes along with doing that).
