So I upgraded parts in my pc and when I watch stuff like on Netflix the computer will like freeze anything that was open or playing will stop my temps stop updating they stay at what ever it says they where at when it froze. I can still move mymouse and open task manager but I cant close anything its random when it freezes I've played a lil maybe like 2-3 hours and it hasn't done it when playing. It started doing this when I put in the new cpu if anyone knows why its doing this pls let me know and before you ask yes my bios is updated and all my drivers the only thing in my computer that i did not change is my ssd, hard drives, psu and computer case.

 

specs

ryzen 9 5900x with core performance boost and performance boot set to auto

NZXT Kraken x53

Gigabyte rtx 3060 ti rev 2.0

asus rog strix b550 f gaming

g.skill trident 16gb of 3200mhz 2 8gb sticks it is boosted to 3200 in the bios

evga supernova 750w g3

Can you do a stress test on cpu gpu and ram

I can run 3dmark where it does 2 gpu test and 1 cpu test dont know how to do it for ram i also turned performance boost over ride off to see if that helps so know core performance boost is the only one i have on

You could use windows memory diagnostics you dont need anything fancy to check ram is fine

Then it is prob windows being weird you could try reinstallingit. Backup all the data and reinstall using a thumbdrive. Run a disk benchmark also but i doubt drive could fail in this way

ive actually did a fresh install of windows 11 already deleted it from my ssd and reinstalled it but I didn't delete anything off my hard drives

Your pc is still crashing. Do you have any weird usb adapters or something you are using.

I am using adapters for my monitors to plug into my gpu and I have a usb Bluetooth so I can have Bluetooth on my pc i wont know if turning off precision boost overdrive fix the issue or not until I get off work at 12:00am today and go to watch stuff
