So I have a question, I recently bought a budget gaming computer DELL G15 5511 (i5 11260H, RTX3050, 8Gb 3200 DD4)  to replace my 6y old one Lenovo Legion Y520 (i5 7300HQ, GTX1050, 8 Gb 2400mHz upgraded to 32 Gb).

The new computer will surve as a personal gaming computer ( league of legends mostly) and a backup for my workstation laptop (dell precision 7760, i7 4850H, RTX A3000, 64Gb 2933Mhz).

as i work with relatively complex Cad Assemblies (mechanical design freelance). i need far more ram than 8 Gb i understand it's only a backup and it wont perform well anyway, but i need the best performance possible in case of emergency, so would taking the old 32 2400Mhz ram from my old computer and putting them in the new one 3200mHz will cause a large performance difference or is it within the acceptable range. or should i upgrade with the same frequency as the new one ?
