Often times sudden issues out of the blue are a sign of hardware failure. I have some questions:

  1. How long have you had this?
  2. Is there anything new you've added to your network that you can associate with this change in performance?

Also, just based on the picture, I would try plugging the powerline injector directly into the wall instead of a surge protector. There is a chance something else in the surge protector could be interfering with the connection.

 

If you can reset and reconfigure the TP-Link and you still have issues, you can be fairly certain that the device is malfunctioning and at that point I would reach out to the manufacturer for help.
