Narrowed it down even further for ya. Get the Gigabyte if you ever plan on overclocking, the 8+2 phase VRM will make a difference compared to a 4+2 phase.

Personally, the Gigabyte matches a high end 990FX board. The only thing lacking is the chipset. That's the one I would buy.

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w

Peripherals: Logitech G19 and SteelSeries Sensei RAW

Toshiba L50-A: i7 4700mq, 8gb, 1TB HDD, GT 740M 2gb

@Mantas

I would eliminate the ASRock right away, as for the price it offers nothing grand that the others don't. Plus, it's the worst looking of the bunch, but that's just my opinion of course.

• So usually I would not eliminate Gigabyte, but for the price, and this particular board - again, as above, almost same reasoning - there's just no major pull to this board. However, it is the 'highest' of the bunch, and if you're overclocking, the Gigabyte is definitely a good choice. This is not my top choice, but if you want to pay the money you won't regret it.

• Now, the MSI is (usually) not my usual preference for motherboards, when compared to ASUS boards especially. But in this case, it just makes sense. It's a great price, and looks awesome. I have built with this board plenty of times, and can say that I've only had 1 bad board so far out of about 5-7.

However, to choose between them (for me at least) is not as hard of a choice as I might have made it seem above. This might be in small part due to a bias, but.. ASUS boards are just the best. Period. Again, this is my opinion. But they are the easiest to work with, frequently offer the most features, and ASUS has never done me wrong as far as customer service goes. I have used this board in roughly 20 builds. Here's the crazy thing: Zero DOA boards, and ZERO bad boards. This is definitely something that should hold a lot of water. At least for me it does. Which is why I choose ASUS for 9/10 of my MoBo purchases, whether it's for me or a client. Total trust in them. Not to mention, the price of the M5A97 is great, and as you can see - I'm not the only one that likes this board. It's by far the best reviewed of the bunch, almost x3 the amount of good reviews on this over the other 3.

Winner: ASUS M5A97 R2.0

I know that was a lot of text, but I try to give all my posts justice and help the best I can.

I personally use the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 on my other rig so that gets my vote. It's been serving me well since July 2013.

Another option: Go 990FX unless you have a lower tier CPU.

I have old CPU , this one i think http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103885

That leaves the two champions of the 4, the ASUS M5A97 R2.0 which is an great board that I have built with probably 20 times now.
