Computer keeps freezing

Computer freezes up completely, with the desktop clock stop counting up. Don't think its just a graphical thing since it doesn't respond to a simple turn off command, instead requiring a hard reset.

Operating system: Fedora 37 dual booting Windows 10, both 64 bit. Only really been using fedora which is where the freezes have been happening. Did run memtest86+ for a few hours and got one full pass, will probably run another for longer but looking for other ideas.

Asus X670E-I

Corsair Vengeance RGB 5200 MHz 64 GB

In my experience if it freezes like this it's either the Harddrive or a Sata cable problem, or the CPU being worn out, as it stops working and doesn't process anymore, causing it to freeze. How old is your CPU and Harddrives, and Sata cables?

That could work, or CHKDSK /r and /r. But if it doesn't then it could be a Disk, Sata cable or CPU problem.
