Need help with WD Elements 500GB

Sometimes when accessing data it makes a click noise (I think the the arm retracts itself) and stops responding for 2-5 seconds and then responds perfectly. Happens only for few files. I think it Has developed some bad sectors.The drive works perfectly but I need some advice because i store critical data on it.

Weird sounds from the HDD generally means it is on the way out. How long have you had it for? storage is so cheap these days, I hope you back up your data too :)
