First stereo

For Christmas I got some vinyl records to support the local bands so I need to build my first stereo so I can play the records. 

 

It just so happens my dad is thinking of downsizing his stereo so he can just have a Bluetooth speaker and a turntable, so we are discussing me buying him a new set up and me taking his stereo set up. 

 

Just looking for some advice if this is a good starter set up I can build on and roughly the price just so I don't rip him off 

 

Marantz receiver sr4300 
Marantz CD player cd4000 
Marantz cassette deck sd4050 
Pro-ject turntable
Bowers and Wilkins speakers dm600s3

 

All this is probably from the mid 00s

Marantz gear and B&W speakers are way nicer than starter. Not sure about those specific models but that setup is easily worth over $1500

A wicked first setup man. Way better than what my first one. 

You better find your old man a great BT setup. Klipsch does some active sppeakers that are quite nice
