Hi Everyone, Happy New Year.

I am thinking about setting up a Home Server, been here a few times over the years and the main driver is to Self Host Bitwarden and PiHole initially, I have a spare older AMD FX 8350 with 32GB RAM and SSD Storage to repurpose.

The main thing I need to decide on is how I run the Home Server, I am a Windows guy that is an IT Admin so very comfortable with all that but I quite like the idea of running something that can simply run Docker Apps from a type of App Store so I don't have to worry to much about reading a massive library of setup guides.

I have seen things like Yacht and Portainer which might fit the bill but I basically want the App functionality of something like a Synology etc, any suggestions for what I should run would be fantastic.

Thanks

David

Thanks for the pointer, seems a bit of a grey area in terms of legality and I am now of the age where I would like to know I am not boot legging software, back in the day I would be all over this 🙂
