computer FPS problem

Hi, I have a i9 9900k and a 3070 with 32 GB of ram but when I play CSGO my fps drops to 80 sometimes and in valorant it also does the same thing. Does anyone know why this might be happening I feel like I should definitely be getting higher constant FPS. I'm not really tech savvy but I can record a video if needed of me playing csgo and having constant fps drops to 80 or valorant. This has been a problem since I bought the computer but just figured the drops were part of the games.

check your cpu and gpu temps, but also uninstall graphics drivers with DDU and download and install latest drivers for your card, make sure your ram is running at its correct speed in bios..XMP profile

 

DDU display driver uninstaller

CORETEMP for cpu temps and CPUZ to then give it a quick stress whilst coretemp is open so you can see the temp

FURMARK that will show the graphcis cards idle temp then give it a quick stress in the app to see what the temp goes to

If you are not savvy with any of the above I suggest googling guides on them

Run the games from an SSD. Those drops are loads from the HDD.
