I'm looking into getting more RAM for my PC. It's currently using 2 8gb sticks of Corsair Vengeance LPX at 3200Mhz. I was doing some research, and saw that Corsair actually does not recommend mixing RAM sticks from two different kits, even if the kits of RAM have identical specs. Is this true? Or is it safe to get another kit of that RAM. Thanks for the help in advance.

Yeah, kits consist of DIMMs that are usually validated to work with each other and they can come with different timings depending on the dimm count. However, if you manage to find identical part (with same DRAM chips) you are likely to have less issues than mixing rams with different DRAM chips.

Though, mixing and matching rams never come with a guarantee.
