Hello!

I've had this issue for the better part of this year

I've had it fixed at one point and now it's back and I don't know what to do

So basically, I have an Asus TUF Laptop (Asus TUF FX505DV)

And I know how ridiculous this sounds but believe me on it

The speakers don't work when the laptop is put on a flat surface, IE desk, table, etc. But if I make it float in the air, they work

Headpones and earphones (usb and jack) both work

The speakers are usually doing a periodic ticking sound

Yes, I have tried reinstalling the audio driver (from both asus and realtek websites), uninstalling it, tried updating my BIOS and nothing work

At some point I took it to the after sales service and they fixed it, they said it was a driver issue, it lasted for a couple of months then the problem started happening again

I'm pretty positive it isn't a hardware issue otherwise they would've caught on it, It's definitely a driver issue and I don't get how they fixed it or how to fix it myself

here are some audio and driver informations;

Thanks for any help, it's appreciated!

so holding it in the air makes them work perfectly fine but sitting down on a hard surface makes the ticking noise correct? does sitting it on a  soft surface like a pillow make the ticking noise? if both cases are the case, then i dont think this could be a software/driver problem.
