Soundbar problems

Go to solution Solved by zipspence,

So I am a bit confused here, after looking at the project models you posted. The soundbar should have HDMI (ARC), Optical and 3.5mm inputs, the TV looks like it has HDMI(ARC), Optical out and a 3.5mm out as well. So you should have 3 different options of hooking the two together. My personal preference is normally HDMI (ARC) but for making things easy you can just use the Optical channel.

So some backstory: I have a (slightly) old Samsung TV (JU6700F) that was purchased about 5 years ago. We also bought a soundbar (WoHome S9920) with this TV, but the only way to connect the two is through Bluetooth which creates annoying audio delay. It may be possible for them to be connected by USB since both have USB ports, but I think that the ones on the TV are strictly input, and do not output anything. Is there a way I can either send an optical signal or passthrough anything? The soundbar does not have HDMI passthrough.

Did you turn it off and back on again?
