XMP problems

seems like its done found the 2003 bios fix it now ram at 3600 with xmp

 

Hi all will start this with I HAVE A FREIND and he just built a 13600k with asus z690m plus d4 updated bios to the 1620 but cannot get get hes 3600mh ram to work in XMP mode

it is running at stock 2666 when he enable's xmp it puts ram and timming up to the 3600mh at 1.35 v  but fails to boot. he is not a overclocker so seems stuck for a fix 

ram is 

CMW32GX4M2Z3600C18 corsair vengeance pro

 did think that he told me  the asus z690 m 4d  motherboard as 1 8pin and 1 4pin cpu power connector and he is just running with the 8 pin one in

so maybe the xmp overclock will not work  with just the 8pin in  

if he have the cable and have problems, he should try connecting the 4 pin too.
