Camer Streaming problem

Go to solution Solved by Cyberat,

Most photographic Cameras have a built in Video recording/viewing limit of 20-30min..

I have a sony alpha 7 mk 3, for photography mainly...but i decided i also want to use my camera as my webcam. This works...not great, thats why I am here.
The problem is as follows:

every time I boot my pc up and turn on my camera, its working fine, but at a random time, it stops working and I only have a black screen, every time i restart my pc it works again, but i cant just restart my pc every like 10-30 minutes, for obvius reasons. i tried the reinstalling the drivers method, doesnt work, I tried to close everything that also uses the camera, doesnt work. I connect it to my pc trough elgato cam link 4k. I even tried a few different usb ports, unplugging and pluggimg it back, in the same and or in different usb ports doesnt work either. So I am kind lost now on what to do...

i have a i7 7900k oc to 4.3 16gb ddr 4 ram with 3600mhz a rtx 3070 ti, and an z390 pro motherboard, not that its taht relevant, but maybe someone can do something with those informations...

I know I know, high standards, but if you decide to help

1. thanks a lot

and 2nd if you describe what to do, please do it like you are talking to a five year old, I dont know any special lingo in pc or camera stuff so yeah
I just want to use the camera for Discord and maybe omegle right now. Other cameras, like my old webcam are working without problems and the cables i connected my cam to my  pc are also working fine, i know that because everytime i boot up my pc it works fine, like I described earlier.
Thanks for the answers in advance:)
