My brother's pc crashes randomly a few times a week always when playing fortnite. I think it could be GPU but different GPU same type he said had also similar issue.

He has got:

CPU i5-10400F on some Gigabyte MB B560 Gaming

2x4GB RAM DDR4 2666MHz CL16 Kingston FuryBeast (we tested using memtest on this machine and were ok)

GPU ASUS RX570 4GB Rog Strix

240GB SSD + 1TB HDD

PSU 550W Bronze

I have never seen myself how it crashes but was told it freezes and go blacksreen.

I recommended reinstall WIndows or at least try another games but my brother refuses both and he doesnt want even to be a week or two without computer so I am clueless.

I dont think its the windows. I do believe it might be the PSU or the GPU.

You might check the board manufacturer's QVL for that model and processor. I've seen a few tricky situations where the board did not like the RAM that was installed. I had a Ryzen build drive me nuts for months until I figured this out. Apparently, I'm not the only one for whom this has been an issue, either.
