Which cable should I use?

Just ordered an Asus PG48UQ 48” oled monitor and I’m not sure if I should use hdmi 2.1 or dp1.4 ?

Which one will allow 4K 138hz 444 hdr 10 bit? And if so can one of them do it with zero compression?

You can use both standards. Both cables allow for 4k@120 Hz. According to the manual, 138 MHz is a OC mode that may result in image degradation. I'd try with HDMI 2.1 first as it is the newer standard. DP 1.4 is quite old.
