   Hello fellow computer people.
After many headaches and sheer amount of reading and dumbass friends and there dumb ideas and a few head injuries in life. I ended up in a dilemma. I would like to acquire your guys help.

CPU: Intel Core i5-12600K 3.7 GHz 10-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus PRIME Z690-P D4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Trident Z Royal 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory
Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Video Card: EVGA FTW3 ULTRA GAMING GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8 GB Video Card ( already own )
Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: Super Flower Leadex III Gold 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply
Case Fan: Lian Li UNI SL120 58.54 CFM 120 mm Fan
Case Fan: Lian Li UNI SL120 58.54 CFM 120 mm Fan
Case Fan: Lian Li UNI SL120 58.54 CFM 120 mm Fan
Case Fan: Lian Li UNI SL120 58.54 CFM 120 mm Fan
Case Fan: Lian Li UNI SL120 58.54 CFM 120 mm Fan
Case Fan: Lian Li UNI SL120 58.54 CFM 120 mm Fan
Case Fan: Lian Li UNI SL120 58.54 CFM 120 mm Fans 3-Pack
Custom: Dell Curved Gaming Monitor 34 Inch Curved Monitor with 144Hz Refresh Rate, WQHD (3440 x 1440) Display, Black - S3422DWG ( already own )
Total: $1390.25

That is the planned build. You can also let me know if it is good for what I want. What I will be doing is gaming at 3440 x 1440 and I customize the graphics settings in games. So it is never everything at max. I already have a cpu in mind as upgrade down the road. Two open slots for extra ram if ever needed. I plan to overclock the cpu but not trying anything massive. Not trying to win any kind of awards for oc'ing. My problem is. The cpu air coolers all that I can find seem to cover the ram which has rgb. Which is then f**king pointless to have in the first place. So then there are liquid AIO. That is the headache. I have reserved three Lian Li fans that I want to mount to the radiator. I would like all the lian li fans chassis and the ones on the radiator to be speed controlled by the motherboard and have the rgb effects through the Lian Li hub. If this is possible could you please explain what I have to do.

Secondly. While researching AIO's. Could you guys recommend a quality AIO. While I have found many and read about them. Like the Keaken z73, Arctic freezer II, EK AIO's, Lian Li Galahad 360 ect ect. I also came across tons of leaking, gasket problems, pump failures, all kinds of different noise problems, sediment, chemical reactions problems and a few just flat out complete failures where everything just seem to quit. This would be my first liquid cooled pc out of many that I built in the past and frankly. With all those stories of the problems. It does not exactly really make me jump at the chance to run off and buy one. By the way. Trying to stay below $290 on the cooler and $1700 total PC cost. If you know of or find an air cooler that can handle some oc on the cpu and does not cover the ram. That's cool beans too.

Thank you very much to all who take the time to read this and special thanks to those who
Reply. Peace be with you.

Spending a lot on bling. A higher performance system is possible with less.

What I don't understand is going with a previous gen CPU with the thought of upgrading it. Go with current gen.

A complete rebuild, because yeah that is what I asked for.

It's cool though. Really. Seeing as I have been out the pc building game for 10 - 13 years. I could take the easy route and just have Redux build me a pc or the even easier route. Just give up gaming and get a laptop for $400 to web surf. Thank you for making it easy.

That motherboard calls for DDR5 ram but you chose DDR4. Might want to change that.

And May as well go with a 13th gen CPU like the i5-13600k

With such a small budget, personally I would go with less bling.

I wouldn't worry about any AIO leaking if you take care during the installation process.

   Thank you for the reply.

With all due respect. Someone is wrong. On Asus website, it states that board " Next-gen connectivity: DDR4 ". Which is why I went with ddr4. As for the bling. I will take that into account. If I remove the rgb then that kills the AIO and I can go with noctua air cooler and problems solved. Just go straight up old school and build for functionality and ugly rather than fancy and the headache involved.

Weird.  This is right from there website regarding the ram

https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/prime/prime-z690-p/

Intel® Z690 (LGA 1700) ATX motherboard with PCIe® 5.0, DDR5, three M.2 slots, 14+1 DrMOS, HDMI®, DisplayPort™, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C®, front USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C®, Thunderbolt™ 4 header and Aura Sync RGB lighting

Sorry for the big font, its copy paste from the website but its says DDR5 for that board.

Nothing wrong with bling, I'm a personal supporter of it!  RGB the crap out of it if you can    🙂

I checked again and had the wrong board. the board you selected is good for DDR4, sorry for the confusion.

Its cool man. A lot of numbers in the computer world. Main question still not answered. I need suggestions of good AIO that 3 Lian Li SL 120 can mount to because some can't. Like sl fans on the Arctic freezer II. The locking piece on the side pushes against the tubes. So you have to install on the other side so it goes from push to having to install to rather pull configuration.

Both a DDR4 and DDR5 versions of that motherboard exist. The DDR4 version (Asus PRIME Z690-P D4) includes D4 in its title, see the OP. The DDR5 ( Asus PRIME Z690-P) version has no memory type indicator in its name. As you have noticed, very confusing and subject to error. Fortunately pcpartpicker knows the difference.

What's wrong with using a Lian Li cooler that already uses the fans?

Came across Videos and posts of pump failures, cpu over heating, bad loud noises. Seems like it is your middle of the road AIO. Remember. I am new to liquid cooling. I know a little about it. Example. Never buy an Enermax cooler.

Many of the complaints of cpu overheating and pump noises are attributable to incorrect AIO installation. But pumps do fail and errors in manufacturing do occur.
