Budget (including currency): 320euro

Country: germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: games like csgo, fortnite, cod warzone 2, minecraft with mods and forza horizon 5

Other details

my current 'setup" is r3 2200g, m2 ssd, bequiet 500w psu and 2x8gb 2666mhz ram with no dedicated gpu. Im thinking about buying rtx 2060 as my gpu this year, i dont really care about the graphics settings in games like warzone 2, fortnite etc. I just want to run 1080p with like 80+ fps since i have a 1080p monitor with 75hz refresh rate. My question is if rtx 2060 is the "best" gpu for my cpu and for my budget or is there anything better or even cheaper and better?

You wont get any stable fps with that cpu a pure quad core like the 2200g was obsolete before that cpu even existed for games. Games expect a minimum of 8 threads nowadays (soon to go up).

Check the used market and I'd op for a rx480/580 (possible a gtx 1070) + a ryzen 2600 or better. This will get you gaming at your desired res and framerate.

Basically get a ryzen 6core 12 thread second gen or better.

Which bequiet psu is it and how much do you care about power consumption? Because there are not so popular gpu options that offer great performance for a low cost. They just need a good psu

The Radeon RX 6600 will outperform the RTX 2060 at the relative same price, it performs close to the RTX 3060, so definitely a better choice.

But as jasilion said you should also consider a CPU upgrade

At that range a 6600 is supposed to be good for new stuff.  The used market is generally where it is at lately for anything but the top end though, and I have no idea what that is like in Germany.  In the US seeing a 3060 for $300 and 6600s for $190. I suspect a 6600 will be faster than a 2060 for most things.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Get a 6600. The cheapest I could find is one for 276EUR on Amazon.
That leaves you with about 45 extra to spend on a CPU upgrade, so sell that 2200g and and get a 3600 or 5600, which ever you can afford, preferrably the 5600 of course

Edit: A used 3600 can be had for around 80-90 bucks. That should be possible after selling the 2200G

I like the 6600 plus cpu upgrade.  Be sure to update your bios first though while you still have the 2200g.
