Airpods cut out while using them

Hello,

I recently attempted to upgrade to the Airport pro gen 2. I know as an android user I will not have full 100% functionality, however I have been having an issue where after 30 second or so the sound just go silent. I have not found anything about this online nor have I seen anyone else talking about it.  I have just started to believe I have a lemon and was wondering if anyone else has been expecting anything similar or should I just exchange them because they seem to be defective.

I know my Bluetooth earphones cut out from time to time if my phone overheats and somehow makes those modules struggle. Doubt this is your case scenario as it's very specific but just a reminder to think outside the box.
