I have a problem with windows where my Bluetooth is randomly disabled for about 10 seconds and turns back on again. during this time my controller and Bluetooth speaker "shuts down" but does not disconnect.
When this stops everything is back to normal, I can not get my head around what could cause it. (it happens about 1-2 times per hour).

Sounds like it’s cycling the connection to me. Some bluetooth devices do this very poorly so it takes a non-zero amount of time. I have no idea how you can fix it though, maybe a driver reinstall? I’m guessing this is a laptop, so the bluetooth card should be at least semi-decent.
