Hello everybody.

I recently just put together a (sort of) new build.

The problem is now, that if the computer have been turned off for quite some time (several hours) it will not boot the first time i press the button, but only after sometimes several reboots. I have been doing some reseach, and the people of the internet, said that it is most likely the PSU causing troubles. And since i put together my new build, whenever i play games, theres a terrible coil whine, from either the PSU or GPU, however, this goes away after i put on v-sync in some games, so i guess its my GPU. Is that normal?

MSI z97i Gaming AC (New)

i7-4770k (New)

1600 MHz Kingston HyperX (from old build)

Gigabyte 7950 (from old build)

Corsair CX750M (from old build)

Samung 840 256 GB SSD (from old build)

Unfortunately I do not have another PSU I can test.

I ran Memtest86 for about 7 - 8 hours, and it reported no errors. I also tried running Intel Burn Test for 300 runs, on maximum, and it reported no errors either.

Anybody tried anything similair?

Well, im ordering from Denmark. Same thing applies. It's not even something that is stated by law, but something companies do for service. ''100% satisfaction or money back'' kind of thing. You can return it up to 45 days after purchase :-)

So I tried getting the Corsair RM650, but it still would not boot the first time, and had to reboot several times. I then tried to take out the ram sticks, and only put in one, but it was the same.

Just tried updating the BIOS, and will find out if it worked by tomorrow, since it only denies booting the first time, after have been turned off for some hours. Will report back here, with possible solution or with what i have tried, if people are not getting tired of me constantly posting in this thread. :-)
