TP link one mesh system

In reference to the Techquiqie video I'll link below, is the TP-Link one mesh system any good, or is it basically a Wi-Fi extender?

It is a mesh of communicating wifi extenders but can also be access points if you give them a cable.

If you set it up like that yes. But you dont have to specificallt buy these they have a whole range of devices specificalled made for this.
